Hope you are all doing fabuloussssss! Today I want to share with you my favorite Italian Running Playlist. It’s no secret that music is an essential part of my running routine. It’s not that I can’t run without music, but my performance is seriously enhanced when I’ve got a little background noise going on!
I’ll listen to just about anything while I run. The most important thing to me is to at least have something playing in the background. Listening to myself huff and puff does nothing for my confidence!
That being said, I try to frequently change up the music I listen to on my runs depending on my mood.
Some of my absolute favorite running music is Italian music (surprise, surprise). You may be inclined to think that I listen to top 40′s Italian hits while I run, but actually it’s very much the opposite! While I do love a lot of today’s Italian hits, when pounding the pavement I often listen to Italian oldies!
That’s right, a lot of the songs are over 20 years old, but that’s why they are so great! These are the songs that we play at my family parties whether it be a birthday, graduation or just a regular family get together.
A lot of the songs are in the “remix” version, which still allows me to listen to my favorite songs, but at a faster beat.
Listening to these songs while I run usually brings me to a happy place. Whether it be my childhood or last weeks family party, I always smile when I hear these songs played.
Even if you aren’t Italian, or don’t understand the lyrics, I highly suggest you give some of these songs a go. Who knows, you may even like them and want to add them to your playlist.
