It’s no secret that trying to fit a workout into your life every single day is challenging. When it comes to your schedule, time is of the essence, and unfortunately on some days working out has to take a backseat.
But what if I told you that there are ways other than working out that can keep you on track, and only take one minute?
Don’t believe me? Think again!
Consider these 12 mini health tips that will not only improve your health and wellness, but are also fast, quick, easy and effective!
Stretch: Quick stretches no matter where you, or what you are doing are relieve tension.
Drink Water: Instead of soda, coffee or juice sip WATER. A hydrated body is a happy body!
Take the Stairs: Just to do it. A lot of people wish they had the ability to take the stairs but are forced to take the elevator due to a handicap or health impediment. If you are physically able to climb the stairs, be thankful and take them!
Pack a Healthy Lunch: Rather than buying an overly salted or sugary lunch, pack your own. Plus you will most likely save money too!
Go Outside: Because a breath of fresh air is sometimes all you need to re-energize your day!
Sanitize your Workspace: No matter how clean you are, your desk will always be a breeding ground for germs. Wipe down your phone, computer and desk once a day.
Take a Deep Breath: Try it! Don’t you feel better now? How easy was that?
Donate Clothes & Various Items: Eliminating clutter by donating it is a win-win situation. You have more space, and the person or organization you donated to will have a better use for your items.
Stay Positive: There is ALWAYS a positive point to every negative situation. Look for it. It’s there, I swear!
Make a List of Goals: It will keep you accountable and set the tone for the day, week, month or year. See my list here!
Call a Friend: That’s why they are there. Happy? Sad? Stressed? Vent it out!

I like the smiling one. I forget that way too often. It’s such an important part of being healthy, an overlooked one, actually. There is so much more to health than exercise and diet.

miss you!! <3
Packing a healthy lunch is an absolute must for me! It keeps me from being tempted to “go out” to lunch with my co-workers on a regular basis. Plus, I always have leftovers from dinner so this works out perfectly.

Taking the stairs is the best “healthy” thing you can do whenever possible. I seriously feel like I get more of a workout from climbing stairs over running
