Good Morning!
How was everyone’s weekend? Did you remember to spring FORWARD your clocks? Although I definitely could have used that extra hour of sleep this morning, I am more than willing to sacrifice it for an extra hour of sunlight!
I’ve never been one to run outdoors in the dark (safety first!), so I am looking forward to being able to log a few miles after work.
Weekend Shenanigans
This weekend was jam-packed. Friday night I went out to dinner with some of my girlfriends. We dined at Sorellina, the same restaurant that we all used to work at during college!
I’ve missed these ladies, so I was glad that we got to catchup over a nice dinner!
Saturday, I went to my acupuncture appointment <–recap on how it is going coming your way soon!
Later that night, I went to my cousins 26th birthday party, which was a blast! Can’t wait for her bachelorette party in 3 weeks and her wedding in less than 2 months!
Sunday I decided to go to the mall to return a few items, and also ended up picking up a “few” too.
I should really just refrain from entering Lululemon, but I can’t help it! I automatically get lured into this store no matter what!
Soon after shopping, I went home and realized that I do not have enough space for all of my current clothes, let alone the new ones that I had just purchased.
I cleaned out my entire closet as well asĀ all of my drawers, in order to try to make some extra room.
I feel like no matter how much I organize my closet, it will never be big enough to accommodate all of my clothes. I donate a lot of old or unused clothes at least 3-4 times a year, but I still don’t have enough space! It’s not the largest of problems, but it is an ongoing struggle.
While frantically throwing away everything organizing, I came across a lot of things that I forgot I had kept.
Checkout this brown paper bag that I made during a retreat circa 2004!
Anyone remember these? Haha, I feel like Blackberries are a thing of the past, even though some people still use them.
Cleaning out my closet has got to be one of my least favorite things to do, but once it is done I realize how much better it makes me feel.
I am by no means OCD about being organized, but I can’t deny the fact that everything looks much better when it is put away in the right spot.
Now if I could only get everything to stay like this!

How often do you clean your closet?
Would you consider yourself and organized person?

I have so many running clothes at this point that I can’t close those three drawers. Yes, three. I have an addiction. And everytime I walk into a store like lulu, I can’t just leave without buying something! Your weekend sounds like a blast

I must admit that I actually kind of miss my Blackberry!
I like the smartphone that I have now, but it is solely a touch-screen and I miss having actual keys!!
