When my iPhone died during my half-marathon back in October, I realized that although I don’t need music to run, it sure does help!

I already had a lot against me during this weekend’s 10 mile race (lack of training, lack of sleep, etc.), so I knew that having a killer playlist would be necessary to keep me motivated throughout my run.

When it comes to running music, I am not a genre snob. I will listen to almost anything, as long as it is fast paced and upbeat.
I generally try to create playlists with newer songs (or new to me songs), since I get bored rather easily with music.
This playlist is a combination of new country, a few oldies and lots of latin/Zumba songs. Zumba music is very upbeat and happy, which makes for not only good dancing music, but great running music too!
Enjoy!

great list of songs!!
I’m totally stealing some of these for my training playlists!
Same with me! I don’t need music to run, but it certainly does help motivate me to get out and do so! I’ve been obsessed with Zumba music lately too…it’s perfect to run to!
