Good morning everyone!
Is everyone from the northeast ready for the historic blizzard that is supposed to hit us today and tomorrow?

I’m glad that my work announced that they will be closing early today, because driving in that mess is sure to be no fun! I absolutely hateeeeeee driving in inclement weather, and try to avoid it at all costs. I got into a horrible car accident about 4 years ago during a snow storm, and I was about 3 minutes from my house. Talk about bad luck!
Considering the fact that I got to work in record time today (no traffic!) I decided to stop into Whole Foods for a quick second.

Even at 8 a.m the supermarket was NUTS! I know it’s going to snow and all, but by the looks of this line you would think that there was going to be a zombie apocalypse or something!
After waiting in a line that did not move for a good 5 minutes, I spotted the coffee shop line that allowed you to pay there if you had 6 items or fewer, along with the purchase of a coffee.
I ran to the line, ordered an espresso, paid for my items and off I went!
If you can’t already tell from my writing, I am WIRED due to the espresso and the LARGE coffee I got from Dunkin Donuts prior! Hopefully I’ll be able to fit in a run or some sort of activity in order to use up some of this energy!
I also figured that it would be appropiate for me to dress accordingly today, hence my snowflake like sweater. Hehe

Stay safe my friends!

I totally saw that picture on FB and thought it was last night…I can’t believe it was at 8am this morning! I also love how people are picking up items that need to be refridgerated and frozen, what if they lose power? Gotta love NE weather and all the craziness that comes with it. Stay safe on your drive home day girl! Miss ya!
I am at work right now in this blizzard where everyone else around us, is closed. Soo frustrating. At least I have experience driving through this type of weather, coming from Newfoundland – we’re “used to it”.
I ended up moving my car out of work’s parking lot into a place (which is closed, yet plowed). My poor little snowball of a car could barely get over there! lol Lots of reverse, drive fwd, reverse… give’r with the gas and go.

Haha I love when the entire world RUNS to the gas stations and the grocery stores to stock up like world was about to end. I’m already getting freakout texts from my mom who’s up in New England. Glad I’m not there but I hope you make it through!
