Lolita Blogger Meet-Up

Hello everyone! Happy Mondayyyyyyyyyyyy!

Along with today being Martin Luther King Day, January 21st is also another very important day. Today my little boy Santo, turns 4 years old!

I can’t believe it, I feel like it was just yesterday that he was a little pup who was scared to leave his crate and hyper as ever.

Although he still has his hyper moments, he has grown into be quite the perfect dog! Happy birthday to my handsome puppy, I love you to death!

Blogger Meet-Up

Thursday night I met up with some of the fabulous bloggers that I met at HLS.  Since I was unable to attend to the two meet-ups, I was more than psyched to finally chat it up with Sara, Tessa, Amy and Tracy!

We went to Lolita Cocina & Tequila Bar located on Dartmouth Street in Boston. I have been to Lolita two times prior to the meet-up, so I knew that their food (and margarita’s) would not disappoint!

We started off with some tortilla chips and guacamole, both which were fantastic. I always seem to go overboard with the chips at Mexican restaurants, and then inevitably become too full to finish my meal. Of course I never learn my lesson, so obviously this happened again. Maybe one day I will learn, probably not, oh well!

For my main course I ordered the Fire Grilled Atlantic Salmon, served over spicy corn and zucchini. It was absolutely delicious and I would definitely order it again. Next time I will try to remember to have them cook it a little bit longer though. Still delicious, but unless I’m having sushi, I like my fish cooked well done.

We decided to skip out on dessert (I think we all had a few too many chips!), but Lolita provides all of their guest with some complimentary cotton candy to finish off their meal. I actually don’t like cotton candy, but it’s a pretty neat idea.

Overall it was a great night, and I can’t wait for the next outing with these lovely ladies. To think that I met all of these girls because of my blog is sometimes mind-boggling to me.

When I starting blogging, I never thought that I would have actually met any of the bloggers blogs that I read in person. Although we haven’t known each other for that long, I am glad that our paths have crossed. I already know that we will be life-long friends!
