September Recaps

Good Morning Everyone!

It’s a dreary, rainy, foggy and damp day here in Boston today, but that’s typical for our ever-changing New England weather! Tomorrow it could be sunny, and the next day it could snow, you just never know around these parts, but that’s what I like.

I’m not sure that I  could live somewhere where the weather was the same every single day, I kind of like the change of seasons.  Ok, maybe I could live somewhere where the temperatures were 75 and sunny on a regular basis, I’m just trying to not let the weather get the best of me this morning, give me a break ;-)

Speaking of the seasons, September and October are two of my favorite months. I already went over several reasons why I LOVE October, but shortly there after I realized that I forgot to give September a little love too. It was truly a great month!

Here are some September recaps and previous posts you may have missed.

Enjoy!

How to Live Microwave Free

When people walk into my kitchen, they usually take a look around and say “where’s the microwave?” “You don’t have one?” “Why?” “Are you OK?”. The truth is, I’ve never owned a microwave, and as much as I used to want one in the past, I honestly have no interest in ever owning one.

Summer Training, Fall Race

I am almost done with my half-marathon training and other than a little knee pain here and there, things have been going great. I basically went from only being able to run 5-6 miles, and now I can comfortably run 10 (hopefully more!)

My New Vitamix Blender

Good Morning Friends! I am really excited today because………..Look what I gotttttttttttttt! Yes folks, I finally did it! I invested in a Vitamix Blender! I have been wanting to purchase a Vitamix for a few years now, but it’s no secret that these machines are not cheap! Every time I thought about buying one, I would come very close, but then eventually settle for an average and much cheaper blender

Life’s To Do’s

I’ve been meaning to write this post for quite sometime now, but could not figure out how to do it without first giving you guys a little background info. So lucky for you, today I am going to fill you in a little bit more on the Yogurt Addict herself<—AKA, Me!

Sooooo where do I begin?  Oh yes, you may not know this, but I’ve always considered myself a goal-oriented type person. Goals and goal setting have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up playing sports (tennis), and going to mostly private schools.

A Brand New Blog!

Hi there everyone! How’s everyone doing? Notice anything different? Like maybe a BRAND NEW BLOG DESIGN?!?! Thank you to the Blog Genie for hooking me up with my fabulous, awesome and beautiful new design!

Quick treadmill Interval Workout

I wanted to do something that would fit into my half-marathon training, but not kill me considering I ran ten miles on Sunday! :-o More on that later this week!  Anyways, this workout had me sweating in no time! I completed just under 3 miles and felt great! I also finished a few rounds of ab and upper body exercises before going home. Bam!

How’s the weather where you are?

Do you prefer living somewhere where the seasons drastically change?

  1. I definitely like four distinct seasons. We kind of get that here in Oklahoma, but fall and spring are usually so short that I’m not sure it counts!

  2. I live in Pittsburgh- where winter takes up 70% of the year. And I do not like it at all. I’m a warm weather girl and spring is pretty much non-existent here while summer is way too short. I don’t see myself staying here forever. I always say that if I never saw another snowflake again, I’d be perfectly happy. :)

    • Totally agree with the snowflake reference! I’ve seen enough snow to last me a life time! I always use to say snow is only ok if it cancels school or it’s on Christmas…other than that, it’s a nuisance!
