All Seasons Table is my ABSOLUTE favorite restaurant to eat sushi. Matteo and I have been dining at All Seasons consistently for about 3 years now, ever since he brought me there on one of our first dates. The staff is friendly, the decor and ambiance is modern, but still welcoming, and the food is excellent. Anyone who knows me, can tell you that sushi is pretty high on my list of (only healthy) addictions. I am very critical of places that I eat raw fish at, and can sincerely say that All Seasons provides the best quality sushi and Asian cuisine around the Boston Area.
Now, on to the good stuff!
We started off by sharing an order of edamame and a house special seafood soup.
The edamame is the perfect size for two people. It is boiled to perfection and has just enough salt. I hate when restaurants overly salt their edamame, it takes away from the natural flavor of the soybean, and forces me to immediately inhale a bottle of water!
Since it was rather chilly out, we were both in the mood for something hot. The House Special Seafood Soup is one of my favorite soups that All Seasons offers (miso is a close second). This soup contains all different types of seafood, along with peas and carrots. The flavors and textures blend very nicely together and allow for a great appetizer option.
For our main course we ordered 5 different sushi rolls to share. All Seasons offers the option of brown rice sushi, which I totally LOVE! The Torched Atlantic Salmon and Crabmeat Maki (pictured above) is my all time favorite roll. It is basically a spicy crabmeat maki topped with torched salmon. A M A Z I N G ! We also ordered a california roll, a salmon avocado roll, a spicy tuna roll and a rainbow roll, all of which were fantastic.
After dinner we decided to grab a drink at The Exchange Street Bistro, located right around the corner. I went for a diet coke and bacardi, and Matteo got a gin and tonic. It was the perfect way to end our Saturday date night. If you live in or around the Boston area I highly recommend All Seasons Table and The Exchange Street Bistro (for drinks). You will not be disappointed!
